First of all, congratulations to everyone who auditioned for this summer program! It takes an incredible amount of courage to stand in front of a panel and sing, act, and put yourself out there the way each of you did. For some of you, this was your very first audition, while for others, it was one of many. No matter your experience level, auditions are always nerve-wracking, and we were truly impressed by everything we saw on Saturday.
There was so much talent that came through our doors, and we are beyond excited to begin working on what is sure to be an incredible show. If you did not receive the role you were hoping for, please do not be discouraged. Theater is a journey, and every audition is an opportunity to learn, grow, and improve. The more experience you gain, the closer you get to landing your dream role.
Most importantly, be proud of yourselves for having the bravery to walk into that room and give your very best. That alone is something worth celebrating and is the true definition of success.
As we move forward together, remember to be kind and supportive of your castmates. Every single person in this cast plays an important role in making this show special. No matter the size of your part, you matter, and we are so lucky to have each and every one of you as part of this production.
